Row Spacing in Tables

The vertical distance between rows in a table can be modified by using the following command:  \renewcommand{\arraystretch}{//value//} …where value is the factor of the default value. So, for example,  \renewcommand{\arraystretch}{1.5} …would result in the row spacing being 1.5 times the normal value. You can reset the value back to normal with following command:  \renewcommand{\arraystretch}{1}.
