Setup Eclipse to use e(fx)clipse   Launch Eclipse Click on “Help”, “Install New Software…” Add the e(fx)clipse p2 repository. The address is http://download.eclipse.org/efxclipse/updates-released/0.9.0/site. For Kepler, additionally add http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/updates/composite/releases/ Select the correct version of Eclipse and proceed.  Restart Eclipse when done installing.

Closing a Statement closes all of the associated ResultSets. So, if you are through with a Connection you can just close it and all of the Statements and ResultSets will be closed. This is acceptable programming practice. Better practice is to explicitly close Statements and ResultSets in finally blocks. This makes your application more robust and less likely to leak resources as it evolves…

Java Naming Conventions

Packages lower case reverse domain. Example: Domain = mysite.com, Package name = com.mysite.<package name> Classes First letter capitalized (and recommended capitalization for each new word in the name).  Example: MyClass Variables Inital letter lowercase. Subsequent words in the name should be capitalized.  Examples: tirePressure, dog, document, documentTitle Static variables are all upper case, with and underscore between mulitple words.  Examples: COST, COST_ANALYSIS, BOILING_POINT
